the 7850 is faster at stock, overclocks very good and uses less than 100w to power it. IMO it should be cheaper as it's a mid range card, but it's very easily worth buying over a 6950, 560ti/448, gtx570. it can smoke them all handily and you can run 2 of them with a 450-500ww psu.

I looked through that website and it is really good and informative website. You are right that it is better than the 6950 (on some games on DA2 it loses out), but I also don't need to play my games on the maximum setting like the website implies. The 6950 seems fine for me.

Now one thing that has me worried is the brand of the GPU. Does it matter? The difference between a Sapphire 6950 or an XFX 6950?

So far this seems like what I'm going with and then after this I'll probably start saving up. I may swap out the PSU with that other one mentioned before. That case you guys recommended seems awesome and is one that my friend has as well. Thanks for the help so far!

Why is it that the 6950 does not appear in the first image, but does appear in the second one, and seems to do somewhat well?

Well looking at reviews it seems that the brand does not matter for the GPU. Am I right about this?

Well there are some brands you should avoid, but any of the good brands will be fine.

Looking at the reviews the XFX 6950 seems to be fine. Is that a brand I should avoid? And what are the good brands?
