What are the primary differences between these processors? I was originally going to opt for the i7 because I will be editing videos. Help me out, please!

One thing. a feature called "hyperthreading". oh, it has a bit more cache too. the amount of applications that take advantage of this feature is small. in half the applications that use it, the benefit is minimal too. not a great selling point. $100 will go further in many other areas these days.
