I currently flashed the shaders only on a reference 6950, plan to do the same if I get a second and OC in Sapphire Trixx to 880/1375. Just was wondering if there is any disadvantage to doing this or even if my PSU can handle it. My PSU is a Corsair Bronze 750w Enthusiast.

your psu is fine. crossfire scales good, but has it's own share of problems that vary from game to game. single card is almost always better. for example, an oc 7950/70 or gtx670 would be better than adding a second 6950. and your psu can handle it fine.

Thanks. I may sell this 6950 and get me a GTX 670, $399.99 for a Zotac one one Newegg, not to shabby of a price all things considered.
