Does it appear in the boot order menu?

On my mobo in the BIOS in AHCI mode drives only appear there and aren't listed like IDE devices.

In standard cmos feature it appears only in IDE mode. Once I select achi in raid mode (only area I can) they disappear from the standard cmos.

Does it appear in the boot device menu eg. F12 on boot.

When you say standard cmos do you mean the menu option in cmos or cmos in general including the boot device order? If its only the former then that could be by design similar to mine.
