Good job comparing people without internet to people with a handicap.
Good job not realizing that a lack of internet access actually is an intellectual/educational handicap these days. The internet is a wealth of knowledge, among other things. --- i5 3570k @4.3 GHz / Asrock Z77 Extreme4 / 8GB G.Skill Sniper 1866 / MSI GTX 560 / Corsair Force GT 120GB / Seagate Barracuda 2TB
Someone in a wheelchair is going to be stuck there for the rest of their lives.
Someone without internet is either in one of very few places where they can not get it, for which I am sorry.
Otherwise they are more than very likely living outside their means because internet is both cheap and accessible to anyone living in even remotely modern society. Not to mention there are MANY ways to offset the cost of internet with itself.
The situations are not even remotely similar and you should feel ashamed for pretending they are. --- Duba Dubababa Ba Da! Dub? http://whatpulse.org/stats/users/338862/
Irrelevant until it's reasonably attainable for everyone.
Okay, but even in the United States, quality internet is not reasonably attainable for everyone. Unless of course you're going to make the argument that people can just get up and move whenever they please. You Blizzdrones just don't understand that it's a completely needless feature that helps no one. --- i5 3570k @4.2 GHz / Asrock Z77 Extreme4 / 8GB G.Skill Sniper 1866 / MSI GTX 560 / Corsair Force GT 120GB / Seagate Barracuda 2TB
You're right, and I accounted for that above. I even live in a place (the middle of a dense forest away from all civilization) that until a few years ago didn't have access to high speed internet. As I said, I'm sorry for those individuals and I understand their situation. It sucks.
As for "useless" feature, that's entirely subjective. Obviously it offers nothing to people who would play alone anyway, but it has a ton to offer the multiplayer community. --- Duba Dubababa Ba Da! Dub? http://whatpulse.org/stats/users/338862/
