I'm historically a PS3 gamer. Not an xbox, but also has achievements with a trophy level system. It was a love/hate relationship. Felt like an RPG, with chores. --- www.notebookcheck.net/Computer-Games-on-Laptop-Graphic-Cards.13849.0.html Best way to determine what each laptop GPU can run on each game. Look for yours in CP

1 GFWL game I would recommend is Dawn of War II + Chaos Rising.
But I would wait for the steam summer sale. Shouldn't be far off.

From: DarkZV2Beta | #010 I'm glad I never got into that. It's a great way to extend the life of an already good game, but... ugh. What a waste of energy. Too add to this, I am a fan of optional achievements that are a challenge to complete. You know, make you achieve something.
One in particular that I have is Guitar Hero 2's Kick The Bucket, for beating Jordan on Expert. It was great to strive for, because It was a constant goal in the distance. And it felt great when I finally got it. Same with Bladder of Steel in Rock Band 2, and any other achievement that involves working at the game to be good accomplish something that others can't.
On the flip side, I hate when the games hand out achievements for nothing at all. And achievements worth something that doesn't end in 0 or 5<br /> --- Pokemon White FC: Zippy [2923-8937-6607] 3DS FC [2707-1897-9929]

I like the achievment thing. My GS is only around 55K (mainly due to my 2 year stint with WOW.
I have to say as I have gotten older, I pay less attention to achievments than I did before but still I kind of like them in some aspects.
Its just nice t have them sometimes.

BTW does Mass Effect 3 on the PC have achievements?
#16Mhunter04Posted 6/3/2012 10:34:09 AM
Yes however ME3 on PC use it's own set of achievements designated by EA within the game not linked or related to LIVE or PS3 trophies.

Only GFW/L games will have Live achievements. While other games might also have achievements (such as Steam achievements), they are not related to Live. --- http://img356.imageshack.us/img356/8325/scrunchface2copyfx0.png http://www.xboxlc.com/cards/default/alle5.jpg

Thankyou very much. So I will just look out for Games for Windows/Lives then.

I would also advise against striving JUST for achievements/gfwl. My tag is Ryamus and I have almost 140k Gamerscore. I used to be big into completion (original 1000/1000 + DLC) but now I only play for fun. I never "whored out" and played kids games but there were a few games that I shied away from just because they had a difficult list. You will enjoy games a lot more by not looking back at a collection guide every 5 seconds, hoping you didn't pass a collectible.
