How many fps do you aim for when determining game settings?

I always aim for 60 so I typically run in High settings rather than extreme or very high, etc.

Also if I take a performance hit I'll disable things like DX11 for those extra frames.

Mostly depends on the game

I am usually satisfied with a minimum of 30 FPS in Single player, whereas I aim for 60 FPS in Multiplayer

I thought DX11 by itself sans the fancy effects actually improves performance.

It does(10/10.1 too), but many games automatically turns on extra effects automatically simply by enabling DX11

I go for 60fps. If it's not constant 60, I kind of go a little crazy. Unfortunately, my system is starting to show it's age, so I have to compromise some settings.

Punctuation goes a long way for comprehension.

stable 30fps at 1280x720(I dont really see diff' between 720p and my native resolution, witch is 1440x900), usualy I try to keep view distance as high as possible, and for some games I turn some settings down for 60fps
