Oh god, don't remind me of the terror I had while playing that. I couldn't even get through all of it. --- http://steamcommunity.com/id/arthasreborn http://i49.tinypic.com/32znxno.jpg http://i48.tinypic.com/4rrggy.jpg http://i46.tinypic.com/af7sdj.jpg
I have nearly beat Amnesia, and it just didn't do it for me. There were some tense moments, but I found that I enjoyed Penumbra more.
The water part was the most interesting part, but after a minute or two, the suspense went away.
The developer says what you don't see is what's scary. I agree with that, but I think that one should be able to see what they're fighting/running from at some point. --- || PSN/360 GT: Treason686 || PC: Core i7 920 || 6GB DDR3|| Crossfire XFX Radeon 6870 || HP w2408h
I think I'm just incapable of being scared by a game. As much as I can immerse myself with it... my brain just doesn't see a point of getting scared from pixels. I find it much easier to care for pixels (due to character development) or get lost in a story (like Mass Effect). There's some tense moments like the mentioned water part which was pretty cool but tense =/= scary. I've been startled by it a few times but startling is for n00bs ;p. --- Pokemon White FC: 4427 0884 0916
