Windows 7 freezing randomly.

I have the specs in my sig, and an AsRock z68 Extreme3 Gen3 Motherboard. Also an Antec 550w 80 plus certified PSU. I was getting BSOD a lot and figured out it was my RAM. So I purchased some new RAM and it stopped the BSOD. Now my computer will just freezes suddenly, at random times. I have updated drivers, Windows updates, and no viruses. I have tried everything I could think of. To fresh installing Windows 7, trying to repair it, and making sure all my settings were right in the BIOS. Does anyone know what could be causing this and how to fix it? The only thing I haven't done is updated my BIOS, because I'm a little unsure how to do it, and if that will even work.
