I'm using MSI Afterburner, and I have my fans set to Auto. My GPU idles around 50c and maxes at around 62 under full load. My question is, should I set my fan speeds manually, and if so, to what? I see a lot of people post idle temps of 35-45c, so I'm not sure why mine is idling so high. I have 3 case fans, and the GPU has a fan of course.
I would honestly mess around with the fan speed yourself. The temps are already in a safe range, so there's nothing to worry about there, but you will be making the card louder. So in essence it's going to be up to you to decide what sound level you are comfortable with. If you want to start somewhere, you get 62 at 100% load, so try setting the fan to 100% there and adjust.
