Batman Arkham City
skyrim
resdent evil operation racoon city
nba 2k12

all of the games above ran fine with anistropy ,antialiasing and v-sync off.
but alan wake lags so much like 7fps only .. anyone know how to fix this? or is alan wake a whole lot bigger than the games i ran?

You should have been experiencing similar lag with, well, all of those games. City and Skyrim in particular are much more intensive games. At any rate, there is no magic we can tell you; you have no graphics card, some games just won't play nice.

Scroll all the way down and find Alan wake.

Your "video card" doesn't run Alan Wake well enough to play. There's no fixing that.

Even though the game runs in 720p, it produces another 480p stream for the New Controller. That's like 1200p!

You're computers is an old relic. Buy it on XBox or upgrade/buy a new machine. You can't get around lag if your computer can't support the game.

An i3 of any sort isn't an old relic, his PC is rather alright besides the GPU...

I still use a Q6600 and get away with max/high settings in games...its the gpu thats a real issue here and I think he has a notebook so he is out of luck upgrade wise.

The best course of action is to just get the information you need, then get out while you're still alive. - destroy everything on GameFAQs

finally got it going ..

i just installed the update that enables 800x600 res . and set it on 800x600'
It definitely skyrocketed the FPS . but it made the game look like crap .. well i guess beggars can't be choosers .. :P . it's a great game.
