Anything from the 90's and early 2000's you can still play online?

Was playing quake 3 it still worked.

Neverwinter Nights once in a blue moon. PSO Blue Burst courtesy of the private server. I'll occasionally try and talk people into playing Shogo with me too, but that doesn't work out too well.

I don't know if it's "classic" or not, but you can still find plenty of Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth 2 games on GameRanger, with or without the expansion. Or at least you could last I checked.

How about CivNet (1995). Never owned it, but my friend had it and it was something else.

I'm sure there are some people out there still playing this via the play a game over email option.
