rather have quality hardware vendors with amd. Who cares anyway. They put them out when they need them Nvidia did it mostly quarterly anyway,

Wait... so AMD stops release monthly driver update to focus on getting more issues resolved and they're cheap, but nvidia releases drivers whenever the hell they feel like it and that is better???

Well, nVidia usually releases drivers quite quickly when there's issues...
Also, they have better drivers to begin with...

That said, it's not like the monthly update was improving driver quality somehow. If anything, it just forced them to release drivers prematurely instead of focusing on stability and functionality. If anything, dropping the monthly update cycle is probably a good thing.
