Problems with Windows 8 Preview on Samsung laptop

#1jordandrakoPosted 6/4/2012 1:50:01 PM
I recently installed the preview and playing with it. But suddenly after a restart the Samsung recovery started popping up and telling me certain drivers were bad and to re-install them. I did so and restarted but it popped up again (and every time since) and nothing seemed to have changed. Except the fact that now I can't start any of the apps. When I click on them absolutely nothing happens. Anyone know what I should do? A re-install?

Bump. The apps work if I make a new user and switch over to it, but still not on the main admin account.

Bump... any way to revert back to W7 since my laptop didn't come with a install disk?

If you didn't delete the recovery partition you should still be able to boot into it and reformat back to Win7. Otherwise you will need to obtain a disk, your install key is usually on the Microsoft sticker attached to the bottom of the laptop.

It is always best to install preview or beta o/s on a virtual machine if at all possible.
