how to reduce wireless ping?

#1DeathralPosted 6/4/2012 4:02:37 PM
I was forced to switch to wireless, and my ping shot up a lot. If i connect through my laptops connection however, the ping goes back down to normal, so it should be possible through wireless, i just can't figure it out. I'm using a netgear n300, but i have tried like 5 other wifi adapters with the same results.

Wireless has packet loss, not much you can do to get around it. You could get a wireless repeater to put on your 2nd floor, or build yourself a pair of directional antennas.
