Hello there. I just recieved my alienware x51 system today. I wasnt sure if im suppose to use the onboard hdmi port for my display or do i connect it threw the mini hdmi port at the bottom located on the card? If i use the onboard will i get the nvidia graphics card or will it pik up the intergrated Intel card? I was reading the guide and it recomends using the intergrated onboard hdmi connector to enable intelligent graphics switching. Does this mean it will switch back and forth between display cards if need be?

Use the port on the GPU.

Nvidia's Optimus graphics switching technology is what my system uses. So i connect to the graphics port then. thanks

in general, connect anything to the GPU. onboard graphics may be able to handle websites, but are useless for games, and some movies.
A signature? What would I want that for?
heh, not like anyone actually reads these.
