Depends.

Most of the time, there is little increase.

Most of the time, none.
In the rare cases you're playing a game that uses more memory(or if you like to leave applications open), it'll significantly reduce hitches.

Even though the game runs in 720p, it produces another 480p stream for the New Controller. That's like 1200p!

Maybe. It depends. Then again RAM is so cheap nowadays. What does it matter?

Double check that your OS is 64-bit

None , or a lot, depending on what you do with your computer. When it comes to RAM, as long as you do not run out an increase is pretty much pointless. If you run into situations where you would like to use more then the existing 4GB, then an upgrade to 8GB is well worth it.

That said, most people with typical use will rarely go over 4GB, though recently there have been some games that do use so much RAM that upgrading may be worth it, depending on what other things you have running / whether you keep open the browser while gaming and things like this.

We're Americans! We don't quit just because we're wrong.
We just keep doing the wrong thing until it turns out right.

^bf3 with one tab(battlelog) uses moer than 4, i know that. its about the only game *stock* that i know of that uses moer than 3 gigs of ram. you can tell games like minecraft or skyrim to use more ram through mods.

like the second post, most of the time, there is nill performance increase, but there is a need for it in some shape or form.
