How much will doubling my memory help with gameplay?

#1BOARDLORD12Posted 6/7/2012 6:59:37 AM
Ive been playing D3 and recently purchased a new computer. Right now it has 4Gb and Im going to double it to 8GB. With 4 it does have some choppyness occasionally but that could be due to the servers. I was just wondering how much it actually helps with gameplay.

For Diablo 3 it will be negligible.

For most games it will help with load times. More than 5 seconds but no more than ~30 in my experience.

This, Diablo III isn't a very demanding game.

Well does anyone else get a little choppyness from time to time on D3. Sometimes when Im running along side someone it will lag a little and they will all of a sudden be ahead of me. Does this happen to everyone?

Yep, I get that at times, it's lag caused by bnet or your connection.
