I'm in the market for a laptop for school. My maximum budget is about $700. I've been looking at some of the AMD Trinity news, and the A10-4600M looks pretty good to me. However, I found this laptop: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834158073 It comes with a 6750M for dual graphics 6755G2. I would like to do occasional gaming on this laptop, but I do have a gaming desktop, so its not that big of concern. I like the ~$500 price tag, but the CPU seems weak to me. Thoughts? Should I wait for Trinity or buy the HP?

I can't comment on how it compares to Trinity because I don't know much about it yet, but the price for what you're getting there is pretty incredible compared to anything else within that range. Non-refurbed laptops with blu-ray, 6 gbRam, and a 6750 would be like 1000 easy. Course an HP + a 90 day warranty is scary.
So yeah I didn't help very much. --- http://i38.tinypic.com/2ekj12s.jpg
