I tried to like this game when i first got it, but I began to realize the game is just CoD or MoH with vehicles. With destructive environments gone there was nothing really separating it from those two franchises and jets were a failure and useless.

I really wanted a game with large scale battles, like battlefront 2 or even 1942. This lead to me getting bored of the game after a few months. Which is a shame because I still play Battlefield 1942, and Battlefront 2 as well which is way better at the large scale warfare than any other shooter out there still. Here's hoping Battlefront 3 comes out soon.

Sure you can't take down buildings, but CoD and MoH doesn't have maps that are miles big. And vehicles add a lot.

I'd only compare it to CoD or MoH because of 1 map, and that's operation Metro, and even if I make that comparison, I rank it higher than both of them.
Oh... Ill buy the game... WHEN YOU RIP MY FW FROM MY COLD DEAD HANDS!!!!

Not at all. In fact, I'd go as far as saying I prefer the direction they've gone, though the map quality needs to be more consistent. I've certainly had more fun with BF3 than BF2 thus far, and I played a metric ****ton of BF2 back when it was current.

I like Battlefield 3, but i think Bad Company 2 has the better maps.

See TC, I was like you... having played and loved Battlefield since 1942, I openly rejected it... having absolutely adored BF2 and BF2142, BF3 was just an abomination to me... But non-the-less I slowly figured, that every new battlefield game was taking large steps forward, even BF2142 was ahead of BF2 technically, so why hate BF3 for taking a huge leap forward over them? Convinced? Well that wasn't quite enough honestly... then I thought, this is today's standard, to try and stick to my Battlefield ideals would mean I'd never get to play another Battlefield game again, so hell why not......... Still not buying Premium though, its like being branded as a sell out.... I'd sooner buy each DLC individually and give them more money than having that stupid Premium Sellout tag put on my character.
