Currently, what PC game has the highest system requirements?

What about Max Payne 3? They have some pretty insane requirements for max settings like a 3 gig video card, 16 gigs of RAM, and all kinds of other large requirements. I can run it great on high settings but I'd need to double what I have to max that out.

Those are fake requirements, they just put the absolute best that was out in the market at the time of release in the "recommended specs"

Without taking into account terrible optimization, i guess Witcher 2 with ubersampling maybe Metro 2033.

wasn't there a horribly optimized hentai game that needs an i7?

What the hell?

They're neither requirements nor recommended specs. They simply posted the range of supported specs, i.e. what they tested. The Core i7 3930K w/ 16 GB of RAM and GTX 680 or Radeon 7970 was the highest-specced computer they tested the game with.

BF3 in a 64 player server is quite stressing.

that's one intricate troll as he also linked to a website showing it's system requirements

either he was a great troll or the developer was the one trolling

It's fairly easy to run in my experience. My 5870 can still get a playable framerate with the settings cranked up, no MSAA at 1920x1200. The Witcher 2 and Metro 2033 give my card far more trouble, and GTA IV is a lot harder on the CPU.

Alan Wake isn't easy to run (not at 1080p). Stalker games are though.

It's pretty easy to run at 1920x1200 for me... can't remember my settings, but I don't think I turned anything down, except for no AA.

Also, if we consider horribly unoptimized games, I think Neverwinter Nights 2 still can't be maxed at playable frames.
