I like the TV the best, I don't know why (it's res is lower) but it makes things more colorful & just looks great overall over my 17". It's a hassle taking the TV to my desk though every time I want to use it. What I love about lower resolutions is that I can get away w/ higher settings but if I upgrade that will cost me such things.
Anyways, I ask if I should bother or not upgrading my monitor because I fear my GPU will not be able to keep up w/ the resolution. (Bad Company 2, Deus Ex: HR, The Sims 3, Crysis) games like that. I know if I do get it I will have to upgrade so any suggestions & what are your opinions on this here situation? --- AMD Phenom II X2 565 Dual Core 3.4 BE | Corsair Vengeance 8GB | Biostar Radeon HD5770 1GB | Msi 760GM-P23(FX) AM3+| Antec 300 Mini-T | XFX PRO650W CE | 500GB |
That's perfect, a great performance increase based off gpureview & hwcompare & is that two free games I see? (Probably a dumb question) But would that fit fine on my Micro ATX mobo & mini tower casing? (etc)..
I will def. get this first if that is what I should do guys.
If you're worried about performance, try 1600 x 900
I don't think that is even a worthy jump from 1440x900?
The HD 6950 might not fit in a small case. Go with a HD 6870 or GTX 560: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150561 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150561
Are those suggestions any good for 1920x1080 at high / max settings? I was considering the 6870 myself before this topic. --- AMD Phenom II X2 565 Dual Core 3.4 BE | Corsair Vengeance 8GB | Biostar Radeon HD5770 1GB | Msi 760GM-P23(FX) AM3+| Antec 300 Mini-T | XFX PRO650W CE | 500GB |
