Diablo 3's DRM wasn't so strong after all

It was cracked recently by a famous pirate team. That's unfortunate...

Are you the warez prophet here to tell us tales from far away lands, with no links or source?

And it still won't get you actual offline play. Poor things.

Diablo 3 was cracked awhile ago for offline play. It's called Torchlight 2.

You mean I can go buy Torchlight 2 and play it right now? Offline? SWEET

apparently it's still a beta(buggy) emulated server that doesn't come anywhere close to the real thing... a fully functional one is still months/years away.

If console gaming is so cheap then why do I have to spend $600~ in order to play Super Mario Galaxy, Uncharted 3 and Halo 3?

If it ends up like WoW, try never

Still won't do would-be pirates any good, many parts of the game, such as the randomization, enemy AI and loot drops etc. are handled server-side, so unless they've also cobbled together client-side algorithms, pirates will be left with a buggy, incomplete game.

Actually there are a bunch (BUNCH) of WoW private servers. They're pretty big here in Brazil.
