Would I Miss Any of The "Steam Summer Sale" Deals?

#1EpicKingdom_Posted 6/17/2012 4:50:15 PM(edited)
This isn't really a when is it topic but I was wondering, I understand that it's starts maybe on the last week of June, beyond July the 4th. I will be hitting up vacation around the 4th so from those who experienced these sales (this will be my first) how is this summer sale like? GREAT Midweek Madness deals followed by GREAT Weekend Deals? Or is it all around 24/7 madness for a few weeks? I hope to score some games w/ all the money I have planned but I hope I won't miss anything when I'm out & about..

Usually it's different deals every day, along with a selection of publisher's games/bundles that are on sale throughout the sale.

Usually everything get discounted for the entire sale. Then on top of that 10 different games get their price lowered even more to a ridiculously low price for 24 hours, everyday. On the last day there are a few repeats but missing a day usually means you can't get the lowest price anymore.

If you have a cellphone that supports flash, (any Android) or the Steam app for Android or iOS, you can buy it from there.

I do not have a cell phone capable of such things, I guess I could bring my laptop with me but honestly I do not know how that would work, install the steam app, log into my account from the computer to make purchases while I'm away? But I wouldn't want to install the games on it obviously so.. go home get back on (my desktop PC) & ...install from purchase history or something?

You wouldn't even need to install steam. Just go to their wedsite, login to your account, buy said game. Then when you get back home download them to your PC.
