Isn't AMD still working on their own wonky physics acceleration or some such? Whatever happened to that.

Yea, its called Bullet, and only people at AMD know whats going on with that since nothing has been released about it in a couple of years.

No, PhysX = wonky. Someone at AMD has a few braincells and is going with the open-source standard that anyone can use, OpenCL.

I ran with most settings maxed or at least on high, in DX11 with PhysX on high and it was very playable. 1920x1080 with a GTX 560 Ti. I'm sure it wasn't a constant 60 FPS but it was just fine by my standards.

I probably had low AA or AF, I don't remember for sure.

Ok shadow, first, that is great news. Second, you don't have to be o mean about it. Third, what computer do you have. I have a i5 2500k, 8 DDR ram, and a 560 ti.

I have those exact same specs, and I run it full 1080p in DX11, all details turned up except PhysX on medium (haven't tried high, just didn't feel like pushing it without a dedicated card), and it still looks excellent, and plays buttery smooth. Only problem with the game is GFWL, which is a problem for *any* game. I hate GFWL enough to make me *really* have to like a game to put up with it. I like Arkham City enough to put up with it.

EDIT: I also only run anti-aliasing at 2x, so I don't push it too hard there either.

My framerate basically halved when I turned on DX11, so I had to avoid it. Still, the game looks amazing in DX9 and I found the game fun.
