ok the moniotr is on but it just keeps flipping thru HDMI and ANALOG channel

Wait, so is the computer itself on along with the monitor? A good way to tell if your PC is on, is to see if fans inside are spinning.

theyre not
thats the thing..
when i did external build yesterday it was on after i touch the power pin with screwdriiver
but now its not doing that, either with power button or the old screwdriver trick

Ok so -- you have a video card (GTX something) installed but you've connected your monitor to the motherboard.
The blue plug you showed in the first pic is a VGA connector.
1) Remove the video card from your system entirely.
2) Disconnect the HDMI cable.
3) Ensure the blue VGA cable is connected between the motherboard and the monitor.
Go from there.

Remove the HDMI from both your monitor and motherboard. Make sure the blue cable (the VGA) is fully connected to both the monitor and your motherboard.

(or what Shub said)

Normally you would install the video card in the PCI Express x16 slot closest to the CPU.
In this case though, I'm recommending you troubleshoot without the video card. Your CPU has onboard video, just use that for the time being.
