bigjontownPosted 6/20/2012 9:18:42 PM | I'm looking for a 2 TB 7200 RPM HDD.
Seagate is significantly cheaper (90$) but some I noticed many of the reviews said these things just don't work. And $120 dollars for a fast 2GB HDD does seem almost too good to be true. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148834
The Western Digital one is way more than I'd like to spend, but there were fewer complaints about them being unrealiable. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136792
Can anyone verify that the Seagate ones are in fact complete junk, and that I should go with Western Digital? |
SomeMacGuyPosted 6/20/2012 9:29:23 PM | seagate is fine, although go with WD if you want something slightly faster --- Maximum Payload, INFINITY! Currently playing GGPO |

fatboy44Posted 6/21/2012 12:13:52 AM | I prefer WD, but both are OK. |
AlleRacingPosted 6/21/2012 12:36:53 AM | I'll concur with the above. The WD drive is better, but if price is a limiting factor, get the Seagate. --- http://img356.imageshack.us/img356/8325/scrunchface2copyfx0.png http://www.xboxlc.com/cards/default/alle5.jpg |

reincarnator07Posted 6/21/2012 4:09:37 AM | Been running seagate drives since i built my computer in 2007 and they are still going strong. WD does have some faster hard drives though I believe. --- Fan of metal? Don't mind covers? Check out my youtube and give me some feedback http://www.youtube.com/sircaballero |
