When playing PC games who else uses the arrows to move?

When I used to play Counterstrike I'd use the arrow keys.

Only if I'm on a laptop using a touchpad or using an emulator.

How the hell you play first person games with arrow key?

The forward arrow is walk forward, the down arrow is walk backward, the left arrow key is strafe left and the right arrow key is strafe right.

I never use arrows. It feels wrong, when every console uses the left hand to move.

And use the mouse with your left hand?

One of the reasons WASD is used is because there are tons of other keys surrounding within easy reach; no need to lift your hand. Arrow keys seem a bit more limited in this regard.

On counterstrike I'd use the arrow keys with my left hand, mouse with my right. CTRL duck, shift to jump and return to walk. Those keys were hit with my little finger. Worked well for me.

I'm left handed anyway.

Personally, I find it easier to use the arrow keys, because the surrounding keys (right ctrl, right shift, return and 0 ins are all bigger and easier to feel my way around. I also like to stretch out my little finger for the big enter key on the far right hand side of the number pad.

I'm not saying it's better than wasd, but I certainly like it better. It has a disadvantage in that I generally don't use my thumb, like I do with wasd on the space bar, but it could easily be used on the right ctrl button if I could be bothered to get used to it.

I used to always use the arrow keys in FPS games because i don't have a left hand and there's a lot less chance of hitting the wrong keys when i kept moving between mouse and keyboard.

But these days I always use the 360 controller. Precision be damned.

I use arrow keys, i can reach the first two rows of the number pad and left control and shift without moving my hand. I also use the mouse in my left hand with the right hand configuration. I have tried WASD but i find i am always hitting keys that i don't want to.
