Today starts the ISP's pirate hunt.

They started their pirate hunting once they capped everything left and right like it was all mobile. Added perk of charging you if you go over .

I think software is going to be getting a break from piracy as people will be out throwing bricks and stealing pens from the isps themselves

on some boards people have said yestersay July 2nd they got 1-2 letters from movie studio/ISP

and the posters that if they had torrented 6 things, each from a different movie studio....then their 6 strikes would be up....

guess internet cafe's with fake ID's to sign in are going to be the only way to pirate stuff now. lol government, there are terrorists, rapists and murderers in our back yards, but let's go after the people that downloaded some music.

pretty sure there's massive fields of science and organizations dedicated towards catching those people

Is this actually in effect?

Love how pirating is wrong.

Yet how the industry is treating us isn't?

And anything that prevents sharing of information (OMG ITS STEALING, no, its sharing, piracy is sharing). Yes, we're such a pathetic race that we look to punish sharing and control the masses for the corporate billionaire's pockets.

That DISGUSTS ME.

On the bright side, this is mostly to -discourage it-. I'd like to see them take legal actions against everybody. Now that would be hilarious. Couldn't fit that many people in your jails, oh no.

Besides, they only really have IPs, and ISPs should protect your privacy. Unless they go at you one by one which they won't.

Should I be concerned about general video streaming? Like watching an anime on animefreak, or downloading a youtube video with a video downloader? I don't really do any of the BTstuff at all...
