why is it $20?

i've seen kotor 1 go for $2.50 on steam
@SefcaBlight
Only on a sale though, it's usually $9.99, so $20 for both isn't bad IMO, especially considering how great these games are.

Some people would rather wait 12 months for a game to go on sale than buy it at all. I don't get that mentality around here. If you know a sale is going to happen (ie: Steam Summer Sale) then yeah, wait on that. Otherwise, just shop for the best price and buy it and just have fun with it. Saving 6 or 7 dollars by waiting an eternity isn't worth it.

@GM_
I would definitely agree with you there.

Only if they add the content back to Kotor 2!
And btw, Kotor 2 is easy to find at Target.

@ZackG31
Supposedly, yes. From what I've read, the re-release collection has been made to run well on Windows 7, unlike the original releases.

I hope to hell this is the case, if so, then you sir have made my day.

Both games run good on vista for me, but I forget if I used a fix. I did get mods to make them wide screen and the restoration mod for KotOR2, I forget if I got anything else for them.

I need new disks for KotOR2 anyway, so if it's on a DVD I'll probably buy. I don't care for KotOR1 (and have it on steam anyway) so I might just buy a new copy of KotOR2 instead for less.

Been around (though, not from the devs themselves) for awhile as a mod...

The 1.7 version and a hotfix for it can be found there. I think there is going to be a 1.8 version, but it's nothing major.

This. I have resolution problems that I can't fix on Kotor 1 (on steam) because my monitor is widescreen.
