Looking for a monitor.

2 identical monitors actually.

I need 24 inch, 1080p and essentially best bang for the buck. I don't need super fancy, I'm not doing any photographic work or anything that interesting, it's mostly just browsing and running some applications. I won't even be gaming on it, as that will be handled quite seperately via a big screen LCD TV.

Any recommendations are welcome, annecdotal is even better as I always find people speaking from their own experience to be valuable.

Gamestop has the Sony 24" 3D display on sale for $199.
It's a great monitor, especially at that price.
24" LED 120Hz 3D Capable.
2 HDMI ports
1 Component port
Speaker out / headphone jack
Built in speakers with subwoofer
Comes with 1 3D glasses, 1 ps3 game, 1HDMI cable.

Got it for my PC and ps3 last year, absolutely no complaints.

I should point out that I'm in the UK, so incidental US deals aren't alot of use to me I'm afraid, though I appreciate the suggestion.

Additionally, I don't need speakers as I have my own and I don't require 3D either.

I'm somewhat flexible, but ideally I'd prefer to keep it at around 150. If however there were a significantly better model at 170 I'd be willing to bend.

There are several I've looked at and many which seem to be pretty decent, I ask here bnecause it's nice to hear from people who first of all, know what they're talking about and second of all can speak from their own experience.

You can read a hundred reviews, but the word on the street always feels more solid to me.

we don't have this brand in the states so I have no experience with it.

same brand 24". not an IPS panel though: http://www.cclonline.com/product/53811/PLE2473HDS-B1/Monitors/Iiyama-ProLite-E2473HDS-24-inch-LED-Monitor-/MON2871/

this is a decent monitor. it has good colors, but lacks an HDMI port.

Slight change of plan.
Bit of a rethink based on the space I have at my disposal, I've decided to go for two 21 inch monitors instead.
