Will I like Assassins Creed Revelations if I thought the first was reptitive?

Played the first one and loved it at first but then it just got repetitive as it seemed every mission was the same. I couldnt even manage to force my self to finish it. Ever since then Ive stayed away from the series but since Revelations on sale right now I was wondering if they have changed it up a little since the first?

Every AC is much better than the first. The series really picked up at AC 2.

They're all repetitive, but the series dumped it's reliance on the mini game trial mission thingies that were in the first one.

It's a good price, but it's hard to get into if you haven't played AC2 and Bro-hood.

The first is the worst of them all imo. Mostly everything got a lot better with the 2nd one and later games. A lot of people told me to just watch the first AC on youtube and go straight to 2. But I saw 1 and 2 in one box cheap so I bought them and played AC. Not bad, but I did see the repetitiveness.

To be fair, in the first AC, all you did was climb up a giant tower, kill a guy, then rinse and repeat. All the ACs after the first throw a lot more variety in the story.

It's kind of pointless to buy revelations if you haven't played at least AC2 and brohood.
