I have a dell vostro 200 with a 300 watt psu. I have a geforce 7950 gt oc, am I able to use it?

Probably not. Your PSU is most likely a 250w labeled as a 300w that barely delivers it's rated amperage on it's rails.
I suggest replacing it.

is your dell vostro 200 a slim pc or normal mini tower? those slim pc's can only use "low profile" video cards so upgrading would be difficult.

I believe it is normal, how would I check? Rough measurements are 17 cm x 40 cm x 35 cm

A 9500GT would probably be fine, but you might want to see if you can get a handmedown PSU.

Thanks, though I'm not sure if a new psu would be compatible with this computer since Dell doesn't like things like that far as I know...
