I know they are both 2 different games but I have a gift card and they are similarly price. Which one do you think is a better game?

I think Shift 2 is a better racing game than Rage is a shooter. Shift 2 is a pretty decent game, not amazing, but decent. Rage was flat out boring at least I thought.

Rage is an awesome shooter. Go back to Call of Duty.

The Metacritic score for it was surprisingly low. I also played the demo of the game on Xbox which did no justice at all since all you do is race.

RAGE was terrible IMO, I never played Shift 2 but 1 wasn't too bad if you modded the handling.

both were bad, but Shift 2 was far less bad than Rage.

Really, why does everyone hate Rage? I thought that PC gamers were excited for it then it just bombed? like Duke Nukem?

So Shift 2 would be the better choice? How could I use my PS3 controller though for that game? I have the PS3 controller that came with the system and I don't want to buy a gamepad. I hear Motionjoy would work?

Shift 2 if you have a wheel, i have a cheap logi DFGT, and it makes shift2 a completly different game.

Rage seems like flash in the pan. havnt played myself but from what the reseptable people of the PC board say, its more fluff than substance.
you may enjoy it, you may not. but comparing a driving "sim" to a shooter is like saying One Direction is like Slip Knot.

Rage is $6+ tax at Newegg, if you don't mind buying Shift another time. Rage also activates on Steam.
