How much would a computer that runs Crysis on ultra cost?

My PC gets an avg. fps of a little over 70 on the Metro 2033 Benchmark with all settings maxed @ 1080p. Crysis Benchmark on max settings @ 1080p I believe was around the same.

I'm willing to bet just one of your 580's, maybe 2, is about all he would want to spend. Let alone 3.

Probably. I was just offering a frame of reference, so he could start formulating a price to performance ratio.

True. If it takes that to max Metro reliably at an average of above 60fps... Lots of moneys.

I could spend $3500.......

Don't judge me! XD

so jealous @_@

I can see up to $2000 for a computer tower, then a massive budget for games, monitor, keyboard, mouse, and headphones or speakers.

I feel all high roller spending a grand on an i5-3570k and a GTX 670, then I come here and see what other people have. All of a sudden, woefully inadequate.

If you want to have 60fps all the time then it might not be available at the moment, with my rig it still dips to around 45fps during some part of the game, but it will give you 60fps for around 80% of the time though. So whatever with two GTX 670s or the equivalence is what you want.

The Original Crysis? That's entirely dependent on the resolution. Add in some shader editors and texture mods and then we'll talk.
