Any interesting/unique?

Hi, i have a project for my computer class. We are supposed to make a power point on anything that is interesting/unique. That is out, or is coming out in the future. It can't be anything simple like games, phones, or anything too general.

Some examples are like 3D printing, holograms etc. So is there anything very interesting that has plenty of information to work on?

Thanks, appreciated.

Do you mind saying what level of class this is? It helps.

I think that post-touch input in the most interesting thing, but I haven't looked at much information.

I'd suggest Leap Motion. It's on the horizon, is already been proven to be as good as they say it is, and the tech could very well revolutionize tons of stuff for any electronics. Look it up.

*Edit* Also, the buy in price is far lower than most emerging technologies, and it is backward compatible with any native touch screen applications.
