Not interested. Nothing against EA, I just don't like first person shooters. What I do dislike is the fact that EA owns several of what WERE good companies(such as maxis, west wood studios, bioware, etc)
I feel much better today knowing that you don't like first person shooters. Thanks for sharing --- I7 2700K | 8GB GSkill Ripjaws | GTX 560TI | GB-Z68X-UD3H-B3 | 1TB WD Caviar Black | PS3, 360, Wii, 3DS, PSP
Knowing some people on this board, they'd rather pick in up on Steam for $10 than get it for FREE on Orgin.
I'd just rather not use Origin. I've bought very few EA games lately, and mostly they've been on sale for very very cheap on steam. As for BF1942, it's not on steam, and the Origin version is unfortunately incompatible with the old BF 1942 so the only people you'll get to play will be those on Origin. Why would they do this? ... the only reason they're offering it free is to get people to use Origin so they can show their shareholders that they're still increasing the subscriber base.

This Origin digital download version can only be played against other players who are using the same version. But since itís free for everyone, everyone can download their own copy of the game. This version of the game will only show applicable (new) servers in the server browser." --- http://badges.mypersonality.info/badge/0/19/193056.png http://www.speedtest.net/result/1846063869.png
what's so great about 1942 compared to the other games?
For starters it was the first, it had some really great mods going for it and it's set in WWII unlike the rest of the series aside from the 1943 spinoff. --- All your questions can be answered, if that is what you want. But once you learn your answers, you can never unlearn them
