Why you should vote for Obama if you care at all about internet openness.

Voted Romney, suck it internet.

TBH i can understand people voting for Romney, he's a real life magician. I mean you have to be to pull five trillion dollars out of thin air with no explanation.

If he can get half a billion idiots to vote republican 4 years removed from getting rid of the worst president in US history he would have to be a magician.....or an even bigger criminal than anyone in the Bush clan.

It's so odd when people complain about Obama adding $5 trillion to the debt[1] when Romney wants to add $7 trillion by giving even more tax cuts and increasing military spending.

[1]. A claim that's not even true if you do some actual math. http://www.washingtonpost.com/business/economy/ezra-klein-doing-the-math-on-obamas-deficits/2012/01/31/gIQAnRs7fQ_story.html

TC... you support SOPA and PIPA? You won't get a lot of Obama sympathizers here.

The Republicans officially oppose those bills and any kind of internet taxes or censorship.

Um, what ?

Ok that was unfair of me to judge you like that. Obama was silent on SOPA and PIPA until there was an online revolt. Then he said he wouldn't support it "as-is" and sent it back to the drawing board. He won't dismiss it completely because he's in bed with all those Hollywood and MPAA types :)

I'm voting Libertarian, so whatever. I'm glad to see the Republican party move closer to Libertarian principles though. I guess it was the Ron Paul effect.

People b**** so much about the two major parties yet are not even willing to go and vote for the third parties. Guys more parties = more competition = the end of the 2 party system.

I have a video I'd like to you watch regarding the 2 party system. It basically explains why it's not a "2 party system" as much as it's a deeply flawed method of selecting the president.

http://youtu.be/s7tWHJfhiyo

And for bonus points watch:
http://youtu.be/3Y3jE3B8HsE

And if that's not bad enough...Explaining the Electoral college and the problems with THAT:
http://youtu.be/7wC42HgLA4k

Right now, because I live in a traditionally "Red" state, I have no real say in who becomes president.

There are other elections going on so everyone SHOULD vote, but if the only one they care about is president, I'd understand if someone said "I'm not voting".

Which candidate is going to legalize weed and get HBO off my ass for torrenting their shows?

Not going to vote until someone campaigns on that platform.

I would vote Libertarian as well, as that's how I mostly define myself, but I am so anti-Obama that I have picked up the reigns of support for Romney. (Plus, I live in Ohio, so my vote feels a little heavier than usual)

I was a big fan of Ron Paul TBH

Obama already made trillions disappeared...

Blame Bush. Obama has spent the past 4 years correcting 8 years of BS.

Still waiting to see how dramatically increasing the unconstitutional power of the TSA, doing basically nothing at all to improve our economy (it's still worse than when Obama took office and has only shown even the slightest sign of hope in the last year), ignoring virtually everything he promised to do last election in favor of his Obamacare pet project, blowing off world leaders and foreign policy in favor of face time on TV talk shows, etc., all demonstrate any form of "correction"...

Doesn't matter if he dismisses it or not, he can be overruled by congress. Keeping his mouth shut was the only smart choice really lest he piss off supporters
