I voted 10 or more because this is a GameFAQs poll.

for me 6 is the bare minimum

2 in front for 2 controllers.. 4 in back for keyboard, mouse, recording interface, and wifi dongle.. i actually use a 7th and 8th for my DAW dongle and midi controller but i can just unplug my gamepads for when i use those.

2 on a laptop 6 on a desktop.

The iMac I use at work every day has 4 and I wish it had 2 more. :(

Four at least. KB+M, game pad, usb thumb drive. Albeit I'm still using an old Logitech laptop style KB that I love to death, which is PS/2

My PC has six USB ports (2 front, 4 back). I have a gamepad and a printer permanently plugged into the back, and I occasionally use the front ports for an MP3 player or an USB flash drive.

Three would suffice for me. Make it four, just in case

4 minimum.

Have you accepted Raspberyl as your loli and savior?

I said 8, but then realized I was voting for my preferred minimum. I guess 4 is the absolute lowest I could still deal with, although I actually have like 6 in use with just my normal stuff. I have a 4 port hub plugged into my keyboard and two more ports open on the front of my case and I still run out of USB slots pretty fast if I get too much going.

External HDDx2
Phone charger

i'd say 7, to give me an extra for whatever.

EDIT: Make that 8. Need one for my headset.

2 Open at all time for things such as Mp3 charging and Vita docking.
2 for small flash drive, and 1T external HDD

So I picked 8.

Does nobody here use a USB printer? That was one of the peripherals I didn't mention by name but many people seem to be giving comprehensive lists and nobody has mentioned a printer yet.
