Adobe Flash
Adobe Shockwave
Adobe Reader
Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable
Java Development Kit (even if you don't develop stuff with it, it's useful for Minecraft tweaks and some other stuff when normal JRE doesn't do the job)
Microsoft Silverlight
Microsoft XNA Framework Redistributable
Combined Community Codec Pack
Microsoft .NET Framework

You really only need to download those things when they're necessary. If you never use it (for example, I never have a need for Sliverlight because I don't go on websites that use it) then don't install it because it just clutters stuff up.

not necessary since most games will install them automatically upon launch. Also web browsers will download automatically any missing plugins.

I'd say:

ClipX (Clipboard Manager)
ObjectDock Plus
MagicDisc Virtual CD-ROM
Orbit Downloader
Eusing Registry Cleaner
K-lite Codec Pack

I wouldnt recommend an anti-virus.
If you know what you are doing and visit trusted sites.
It eats more system resources and shows annoying messages,
Q.You want so see some other stuff? What Console? A.Console? Q.What platform? A.Uh, Moral Turpitude?
Q.PC it is, then.
