I bought my first gaming PC just for 1942 so this game is really nostalgic for me. With that said, I wont be downloading it because I know it wont be as good as I remember

Pfft...BF2 isn't as good as I remember.

But I actually think BF2142 is my favorite installment anyway.

2142 was awesome, but I think I liked BC2 the most. I'll probably be shot for that, but I found the level of destruction to make the experience very dynamic. (well, that and the fact that BC2 had awesome maps)

I miss Titan mode, and BC2 had some great maps and destruction, but BF3 is going to have to take my top spot for the improved infantry feel and amount of variety in the guns and attachments, and overall balance
