I assume that bing will become more popular in the coming years, then.

I wonder if MS will snatch google's users by buying them out. It's an interesting business practice, but I wonder if they can keep it up. Perhaps google will retaliate and offer their own incentives.


One thing I sometimes wonder: in the vast sea of millions of web pages out there, how many people actually take the time and search beyond the third page or so of a search engine's results?

For me, the search results are similar enough that I don't care if I'm using Bing or Google. Bing just offers me prizes, so I use it.

I search down the search results until I find the answer I am looking for, whether that's with result 3 or page 3. Sometimes what I'm really looking for isn't found in the first 3 results, so yeah, I'll go past page 3 if needed.

I'm sure that bing's cool pictures help, though. I'm the same way when it comes to searching. I'm willing to go through many results to find what I'm looking for.

Someone mentioned yahoo. They have up to date business information. Otherwise, they are a bit dull.
