Looking to get this build and sell my current PC. My goal is to be able to record and upload gaming videos at max settings for YouTube. I'd like to be able to max anything out there on a single 1080p monitor at 60 FPS (I know YouTube only shows 30 FPS, but I still want to play at 60 while I record). Any suggestions on compatibility or whatever else? I'll be getting all the parts from Newegg, so I changed the cart's retailer to reflect that. The only other thing I'm interested in getting is a sound card, does anyone have suggestions for one? Are they worth it?

Also I saved you at least 80 dollars by ordering some of the stuff by Amazon:

Yeah, I changed everything to Newegg as I'd prefer to order everything from them. I've had to deal with them with returns before and everything went perfectly. It's just a piece of mind sort of thing. As for why I need Windows 7 Pro, no reason in particular. Just decided to go with it over Home.

Why is it that he can hit a 3rd baseman on a frozen rope from 300 feet away, but he can't hit a 12 foot tall catcher from 60 feet 6 inches away?

Amazon to me is the best online retailer when it comes to returns, but like I said is just me. I don't know if you had a bad experience with them, so if Newegg is better for you then order from Newegg.

Sorry for the late reply, this is only my second time building a PC, my first one gave me some trouble too. What RAM would you recommend? I'd like 16GB of 1600 RAM, similar to what I have in the link.

Those shouldn't be as much trouble.

Saving that much on your RAM would also allow you to get the equivalent Haswell parts for a few dollars more. For $15 more (about as much as you'd save by purchasing that hard drive from NCIX), you could get a 250 GB Samsung 840 from NCIX. Looks like you're already ordering the case from there anyway.

Don't get that 7970.

This, for all intents and purposes would be just as good with a small overclock, and is $130 cheaper.

Alternatively, this one has a better cooler:

And this one is the top of the line, if you want to spend the money:
