Gaming From My Couch?

#11overkillwfo1978Posted 8/4/2013 2:30:25 PM
You would likely need a straight backed chair also. I don't know about you, but my couch is of the ultra comfy "sink into it" variety. I've tried the TV tray and it just doesn't work. Which is why I just play with the 360 wireless. Comfort over precision as I don't play online competitive games.

My only concern is, will there be enough surface area for both the keyboard and mouse? I'm afraid that there might not be enough room to move my mouse around as freely as I can on my desk.

What is the approx. dimension's I should look for in a T.V. tray like that, if I do decide to go that route?

Get the measurements of the table and do some math.

Anyways thanks for this. I was looking for exactly this type of thing but couldn't think of what the name of it would be rofl.

I'm not saying this is what you should buy, but there are products made specifically for this:

They have different versions of it as well.

Yea the more specific a product is, the more it tends to cost regardless of actual cost to make it.

By a generic table. It does the same thing without destroying your wallet.

See I want to do the same, but the way my living room is set up you would have to be laying down on the couch to play on the tv. Any recommendations for that besides dragging in a computer chair and sitting on that with a tv tray table?

The length of the keyboard is 14 inches, and the amount of room I'd like for my mouse, is the size of my mouse pad. Which I assume is a standard dimension.

Posts like this blow my mind. You literally just listed the dimensions needed for you in order to play comfortably, then continue to ask everyone else if the table you listed is big enough.

Can't you read the dimension of the table yourself? Can't you research tables that have the required dimensions? You have all the information you need, and yet you give it to other people so they can 'do the work for you'.

Tsk tsk.

Sounds to me like he was answering someones question. THey asked him the dimensions...

Maybe you need to stop smoking spice.
