Was curious about temps, so I downloaded this program. It is saying that my cpu temps (3570k) are in the 90s and that my GPU temps (680) rose to over 130 degrees while playing BL2. I've always known my system to run cool and quiet.... I opened up the case and did a "light feel" on certain parts of the cpu, gpu.. ect and they seemed just fine. Barely warm at all to the touch.
Anyone have any insight on this program? I don't know much about how they work, but I am 95% positive that it is giving me bogus numbers.
I have read a few posts of people having numbers way off when their system is unlocked/overclocked... I have a light overclock on my cpu (3.9ghz).... --- "Even if you go by the cheapest price the game has ever been anywhere, psn+ would still be cheaper by at least 3 fold". DemonDog on psn+ vs. Steam

Download Speedfan and compare the results. --- http://a.imageshack.us/img830/2605/dsc00089k.jpg http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u169/Mcbethx/1177119041.jpg
Yeah, if your CPU is running at 90 degrees Fahrenheit...that's fine. Same with your GPU running at 130 degrees Fahrenheit.
If the temps you're talking about are in degrees Celsius than that is a problem.
...aaahhh. I see. I knew it was Farenheit, but I thought that 130F would be high. Like I said, I'm kinda new to this, so now I've read that the max operating temp for 680 is 98c. I'm well below that.
