Wouldn't Hamachi work as well? That's what I've used for Terraria.

I've never used hamachi, but tunga is needed to trick sacred 2 into thinking it is connecting over lan. The game is lan only.

Hamachi will do that. Use either.

That's the exact same reason I use Hamachi for Terraria. Tricks the game into seeing it as a LAN connection. Also a free program... so yeah, use either. I know nothing about Tunngle, but I do know Hamachi is extremely easy to set up and use.

Unfortunately, a friend is required and I'm pretty certain that the developers stopped its "rent a friend" service a few years back :-/
