What do you guys think about Minecraft?

I tend to play it obsessively for a few weeks, slow down and then burn out hard and don't touch it again for 6 months. Then I get obsessed again

Pretty much this.

What I like about it is the building part with a little bit of adventuring. Install the airplanes mod and it becomes even better.

If you're the sort who likes building stuff and exploring for materials, it's really really good. If you're turned off by the original graphics, there are mods there that completely changes the look of the game depending on your preferences.

Right now, I'm having a blast building up my forts on different parts of the world. I have quite a few planes that I use to travel between forts and it's really cool. I'm having the most fun building landing pads on each fort.

My next project is to build an underground type of system to connect my forts via a subway sort of connection. I just don't know yet how to exactly do it since. The forts are really far from each other.

I do a lot of self-reflection in that game...Surviving alone...pondering the meaning of simple things...It's a great game to just play and...think about.

I think that's part of what made the game more attractive to me back in Alpha when there was so little to do. Now that there's so much more to do, find and make, I feel like the game's become more goal-oriented for me and I forget to slow down.

I burned out on that game after playing it for so long. It was really fun while I enjoyed it though. Mods, texture packs, multiplayer, multiplayer mods, custom maps and quests, etc. It was awesome, and I'm not even that creative.

It's fun if you're into that sort of game. Can't say whether you would like it or not, but it's different, and entertaining.

I've hosted MC servers for over a year now but I am quite burnt out on it. It's still fun if you have a group of people to play with.

It's a good game if you like building things.

I used to like it. Friend got it for me during Alpha and we played together a bit or I'd do my own thing in SP. Really used to love the game. Now? I dunno. I mean, I can see the merit, but every once in a while I boot it up, do a little bit of stuff, and shelve it for months. I liked it back when I could play it on my very poorly-powered laptop on absolute lowest. Now I doubt it'd even start, or if it did, it'd be unplayable.
