4x titans and whatever intel processor is 1000 dollars ;p the 3970x I think?

Honestly for the most part when it comes to high end computer parts the most expensive generally gets you the best. Obviously some wiggle room on what brands you prefer but once you have that down whatever is the most expensive is going to probably be the best bet.

I think when companies have really high end, they go crazy with pricing. You can get an i7 3930x for about half the price and it benches about the same.

Although tc was asking for the best possible computer, which is a subjective term as you can pretty much buy any of the most expensive **** and get a super computer.

Ya pretty much. That's what I mean it's kind of hard to really point a finger and say "that's the best" because like everything else it's so subjective. That said unlike a lot of other hobbies it's only subjective to a point because in PC parts you actually have numbers/benchmarks etc you can point to.

I'd wager 4 gtx 690's would be involved... or the titan. I think there is a build posted of a "supercomputer" with a few titans.

It's here:

Damn guess he already paid for the 10 that are available just with those 2 sales.

I might try building a sweet PC next time I have a couple grand to spare...I see things like this selling for absurd price points way too often, seems like a pretty easy way to cut a couple grand profit for like 2 hours of work max putting it together.

LOL. That price is not owrth it. He wants 13k for a system where he only spent like 6-7k on parts? LOL what a dumbass. No one is going to buy that...
