Ive decided to give this journey a try. I am a redguard because I wanted to be a warrior and I like that he is resistant to posion. Im not real interested in using magic but im wondering if its a must if you want to beat the game. Any pointers on what I should be aware of when going though the game or how to build my character?

Yep - there's a board on gamefaqs for Skyrim, and people still populate it! Go ahead and click "PC" at the top of the screen, and then scroll down until you see "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim." It should be #1 on the "Top 10 Games" list. You can ask all your questions there and people that are actually still interested in talking about Skyrim can give you some great advice.

Bad advice would be telling you to ask about Skyrim on the PCH board.

skyrim for pc worth picking up?
I have it for 360 and the expansion but have yet to touch the expansion
Wondering if I should just get it for pc.

With the proper mods Skyrim's far better than it's console sisters. That said it's still Skyrim, and you'll probably find that owning 2 of the same game is just kind of stupid and redundant.

My tip: Uninstall it.

Its a dreadfully shallow game with really only 20 or so hours of actual entertainment. Mods don't save it, because the actual meat of the game (the part that mods are supposed to make better) never gets any better with mods.

And inb4wellwhatothergamesgivesomuchentertainment

Thats not the point. The point is is that previous Bethesda games can give hundreds, and in some cases, thousands of hours of entertainment without losing out. 20 hours is pathetic compared to what previous ES games have provided for.
Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 2. Lets revitalize this game eh?
