Wait, if I get the Afterglow, can I use the MS headset also for games - I like how it filters voice from the in game volume.

It has the same jack on the bottom as the 360 controllers.

Yeah I'm pretty sure that you can. My friend had a wired 360 controller and 360 headset while he gamed with his mouse and keyboard. I'm petty sure he only used it for talking.

360 controller will give you the best possible compatibility and is among the best in terms of quality. The D pad can be easily modded to turn it from atrocious to passable. I'm completely comfortable recommending the wireless one. If you buy a 360 controller for Windows it will come with a wireless adapter and it doesn't cost much more than a regular wireless or wired controller.

I'm so glad I have 5 wireless 360 controllers with flawless D-Pads.

Would suck to have the "atrocious" d-pads everyone complains about.

IMO, the best controller ever created is the PS3 controller (Sixaxis or DS3, makes no difference.) So, I use one of those with MotionInJoy and it works perfectly.

The Logitech F310 is the best IMO plus it's only $20

But then you have MotionJoy wartware on your computer. Nearly impossible to remove all traces of it and it's buggy as hell.
